Have you ever spotted a really cute item and said “Wow, I want that! Except.. how would I wear it?” How many great pieces have you passed up because you had no idea what to pair them with?
The answer is usually to keep it simple. If an item catches your eye enough to make you pause and then covet the hell out of it, it’s probably a piece that can stand on its own with a few simple accessories.
The Odelia dress from b&lu is one of those dresses that can definitely stand on its own. The accessories I’ve chosen are really simple and can be worn with other outfits very easily. If you do want to theme it up, replace the flats with cowboy boots. Yeehaw.
Outfit details
Odelia dress, $54 from b&lu. It comes in sizes 1 – 5X but check the size chart!
Hobo bag, $23 from Target.
Round plastic sunglasses, $17 from Target.
Odell ballet flats, $13 from Target.
Total outfit cost: $107. Not bad!

I would totally wear this outfit. The teal shoes and white purse make it perfectly springy!

For sure I'd wear it with cowboy boots!
I'm loving your blog since 1,5 year from France where I live, and sometimes I want to cry because we don't have all this shops and outfits in Europe!
Thanks for making me dreaming!

That is such an adorable dress. Although, I wish it were a couple inches longer. Because, although I have awesome calves, my knees are in bad shape from surgeries. I definitely need a just below the knee dress, which is oh-so hard to find in this season's dresses, which are all above the knee.
Speaking of length, this gets me on another rant. Why the heck are all of LB and Avenue's tops so darn long? I seriously do not need a shirt to skim my mid thigh! Though I am tall, everything is so fricking long! Maybe some women are more comfortable in a longer style, but I am not one of them. Lucky for me I still have a waist and I'd like to show it off without the aid of a belt.
