Happy holidays and a (short) hiatus

Thank you everyone for entering my giveaway! I chose a winner yesterday and sent off her prize and donation to the Lifelong AIDS Alliance. All in all, the giveaway was a great success and a nice way to celebrate Christmas :)

I'm going to take the holidays as an opportunity to regroup and figure out my vision for this blog for the upcoming year. I definitely feel like I'm stuck in a rut and need to shift gears a little, or maybe a lot. I know what I want this weblog to become, I just have to figure out how to make that happen.

I may post special coupons and such but posting will be very light otherwise. Thank you for making 2008 a great year. I'll be back soon!

Oh! And if you have ideas/suggestions/feedback about the blog in the meantime, please leave a comment on this post and tell me.

Local AIDS Group I support has Holiday Boxes build and delivery tomorrow with 2-3 of snow on the side streets.

Awww, I will miss your updates but I understand the need for a break to figure things out.

I would love to see the blog focus more on how to work trends on the plus size figure and also general tips and tricks for living the fabulous big gurl life.

I love what you do here already but things that I love and think you could do well would be something like a trend watch and how to execute that for plus-sizes.

Also, can I say I suck at putting clothes together and I love to see how other women put things together that I wouldn't necessarily think of - so maybe an outfit a week and make it unique by doing an entire outfit for less than some reasonably set price?

Love so much what you do. I'd really like to see more how-to-put-outfits-together - especially with your gift for accessories. Goes along with the ideas for applying current trends to plus sizes. Looking forward to the new year!

I agree with those above. I have a very difficult time figuring outfits and trends out for a plus size girl. It would be especially great if you could come up with some sort of "basics" and then do outfits around those basics, to help me save money! I love the blog though, it's one of the few that I go to on a regular basis.
