oh, that's a super cute coat! living in florida, i don't NEED 2 coats, but i have one fairly basic one and also a velvet riding coat that i will probably never get rid of because it's sooo pretty (and i spent almost $500 on it in an overpriced goth shop in toronto)

sometimes, a good coat can totally make an outfit, so i'm kinda jealous we don't have a season that really allows for that here :)

i have a columbia winter coat for when it is seriously cold, then a knee length black dress coat that is better suited for fall and early spring, then a heavier knee length dress coat that is a cherry red wool.

I wanted that coat the minute I saw it too. Kiyonna scares me for some reason. I guess I want to take the leap, but the prices make me leery.

When it comes to coats, I don't really care about trends, which drives my mom nuts. I have several, ranging from light to my heavy, long Berber coat. My dressy coat is my camel wool that is 3/4 length. But I love fleece coats. They're cozy and safe and make me feel good.

You know what - for the first time ever I decided to be somewhat trendy with my outerwear (instead of just grabbing the first thing that fits) and bought a beautiful fuschia peacoat by Guess from Nordstrom. It looks like a little baby doll dress with these huge buttons. At first I was worried I would look silly because I certainly don't look like the teeny tiny model in the picture wearing the -XXS. (I bought it in 3X) But you know what? I feel adorable in it and I get compliments everywhere I go!

I love coats; I probably have about 10 of them. I have a wool, 3/4 length coat for work and for cold days; a hip length jacket from Eddie Bauer in a small quilted pattern that I also wear to work, depending on the weather; a fleece jacket for casual fall days; two quilted vests for the not-quite-cold-just-cool days; and then a couple of casual, week end type jackets (water repellant, fleece lined). I love the coat from Kiyonna, the price is what's keeping me at bay. LB has a couple of cute coats too, I love the wool coat they have with a belt and 3/4 sleeves. If the price drops, I'll probably take the plunge.
