Right Fit from Fashion Bug

Did you know that Fashion Bug has a Right Fit line? There are two styles of pants and three styles of jeans. Two of the three jeans style have tapered legs, though. I don't quite understand that decision but the bootcut style looks promising:

L.A. Blues Rodeo Right Fit stretch jeans

They're on sale currently for $22 but retail for $27, which I think is more than reasonable for jeans that fit perfectly! They come in black sandblast, the dark sandblast pictured above, and medium sandblast in Right Fit sizes 1 - 10, in short, average and long lengths. I don't know if the selection is the same in stores.

I've heard that Fashion Bug's sizing runs on the smaller side but I'm not sure if that's true of the Right Fit, or if the fit is similar to the Lane Bryant Right Fit jeans. Has anyone out there tried these jeans from Fashion Bug? How is the fit? I wish I had a store near me but I'm going to see if I can figure out the sizing and order them online. I'm definitely curious!

Oh, and this is interesting - the Right Fit line at Fashion Bug also comes in misses sizes, not just plus sizes. I think that's great because I know that women at every size have trouble finding jeans that fit properly.

I just bought a pair. The saleswoman measured me as a 7 or 8 red or blue, and I ended up in a 6 red. They are really comfy! I had no luck when they first came out at LB (which are far more expensive, still). There I was measured as a 12 yellow, and one baby later, I am somehow in the red 6? I don't get it. Anyway, I was really bummed about the tapered legs, too. I ended up with the rodeo cut and while they have stretched out, I think that a size down would be too small.

They aren't perfect, but they are better than most jeans I've tried. My 'problem' is that I have a really big belly, but my legs are (relatively) small, so I get that hangy-crotch thing - the area from my lower belly to my thighs is always too big. Not so much in these.

For reference, I am anywhere from a 22-26 in jeans, 5'5" and apprx 270#.

I went to Fashion Bug and tried on an Pair of "Rodeo Boot Cut". They fit exactly like the Lane Bryant Right Fit Bootcut Jeans I had one. No difference.

Of course the SA told me this.

I ended up with 2 pair. One Dark Rinse Bootcut and One Light I had to order.

I liked them better than the ones at Catherines. I wear a 5 yellow.

Only downside is some darn Women purchased my pair of "Rodeo Bootcut" in Light Wash. They were sold out of everything but 1 and 6 and 8's in Light Wash Bootcut.

Yellow.

I also noticed that Fashion Bug had Right Fit jeans, but then they are owned by the same company as Lane Bryant. I think it's interesting to note the differences in what each store carries.

I hate the LB "Right Fit" jeans, they make no sense at all. Besides, I hate spandex in jeans, your thighs rub together and then you get these little pieces of elastic coming through, like whiskers, totally unattractive.

Seriously stop it with the spandex in the pants already, we're fat, not delusional fat people thinking we are skinny and just need a little "give" to make us feel better.

I don't understand how you can hate the Right Fit jeans categorically, unless NONE of the 3 silhouettes fit you? Which would be terribly annoying. Or is it just that you don't like them because they have spandex?

I LOVE THESE JEANS. I finally found a pair of jeans that fit right!!! I am a 4 Red Wilshire Stretch. The Rodeo was too low and didn't fit at waist(too big) so maybe I'd be a 3 in that style? I'm hoping they don't stretch too much. They fity perfect now!!!

I also hate the LB Right Fit jeans!! None of the shapes fit me at all! I'm typically a size 18-22 in jeans and I'm super tall and long legged (6'4") and it's really hard to find plus size jeans in tall. I'm in love w/ Gap Long and Lean jeans in a size 18 or 20, but I can only where flats in them and I'm a heels kind of girl (yes, I wear heels even at my height).

PS I just found your blog and I love it!! yay for Big Girls w/ some Fashion sense!!
