Alright, I'm nosey.
With summer coming up, shorts are popping up at a lot of the plus size retailers, especially linen shorts. Personally, I haven't worn a pair of shorts since maybe middle school. I'd rather go for capris or a skirt. How about you?

I wear cargo or bermuda shorts that are just above my knees. I won't wear anything shorter because of my dimply chicken skinned thighs. I also wear capris with abandon. FTR, I'll also recklessly wear sleeveless shirts and show off my fat arms. I live in Texas and I have an active job, I don't like to wear more clothing than necessary.

Well, since I pretty much won't wear pants, it seems a no brainer that I won't wear shorts. I've never met .a bifurcated garment that did a thing for me. Dresses and skirts all the way.
Also, shorts, even the long ones like bermudas and city shorts tend to bunch up in between my legs, exposing my thighs and looking very unflattering in general.
I guess I do wear bike shorts under my dresses, but I think of that as more like undergarments than anything else.

Shorts are just not my style. It's not that I won't show my legs, I do wear above the knee skirts. I'm just much more of a skirt girl.
Heh, Rose, I don't wear pants either. Jeans, yes, but I've never found a pair of dress pants or slacks that don't pull at the butt without being two sizes too big everywhere else. Shorts would probably have the same problem, come to think of it.

I prefer a skirt to shorts, but I did find a super cute pair of shorts at Target recently. They're a dark blue with a subtle pin-stripe, comfortable cotton blend fabric, not too short and not too long (they're actual shorts, not bermudas), and cute cute cute!
