Lifetime's new show How to Look Good Naked premieres tomorrow night but I caught the first two episodes last week on Comcast's OnDemand thing. I thought it might be completely shallow but it's actually a really thoughtful, enlightening show. Carson Kressley is as cute and fun as ever and he does a fantastic job coaching participants and helping them feel great about their bodies.
The first episode features a plus size woman who wants to accept her body and overcome her insecurities, despite thinking she needs to lose 40 pounds. By the end of the episode, she's just glowing and WORKIN' IT. This isn't your typical "make you over by hiding your flaws" makeover show. Carson strips these women down to their panties and makes them see their REAL bodies and that's where the love and acceptance starts. Definitely worth tuning in for!

I am reeeeeaaaaaallll skeptical of this show, but I will check it out JUST BECAUSE YOU SAID IT WAS GOOD. No pressure or anything...

I also bought a bra because you told me to. Could you maybe do a post about calling my mother more and not staying up so late on weeknights?

I've been watching it On Demand and I really want to do this show.

I watched this on iTunes and totally agree with you. I didn't like Carson Kressley at all on QE, but think he is WONDERFUL on this show.

I saw this advertise a million times over the holiday vacation and I am SO looking forward to it. I'm pretty sure I set my DVR up for it, but I need to double check when I get home.

Gracious, five years ago, if someone told me that I would Carson Kressley loll around on a bed with a woman in her underwear (or was she nekkid?), I would have spat out my morning coffee in disbelief. This is a great show. I'm not able to catch it live, but I'll make sure I see if weekly. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. Rose
