Just in time for Valentine's Day, Lane Bryant has a TON of new lingerie and some of it is so cute I could just DIE. Really. I died and then came back to write this post. BooOo0o.
But seriously, Lane Bryant has really been stepping it up with their Cacique line of plus size lingerie over the past few years. A lot of it is just as cute, if not cuter, than what you'd find in misses' lingerie stores. And they're offering free shipping on ALL orders until February 1st.
Let's take a look at what's new.
I love little details in lingerie. A teensy ruffle here, a tiny sequin there, you get the picture. I wasn't really excited about these mesh hipster panties until I saw the lace up detail on the back. Totally adorable! Truth be told, I am really fond of pink and black together and corset detailing, so it's no surprise that I like these.
I want this cherry print balconette bra and cherry print hipster
right NOW. The balconette bra provides some serious uplift, I love Lane Bryant's hipster cut panties, and the cherries are very fresh and springy. Winner all around.
I'm a big fan of comfy sleepwear but comfy doesn't have to be boring. Cute things up a little with a colorful chemise like this lace trim jersey chemise or heartthrob print baby doll.
You don't have to wear a leather corset and four inch heels to be sexy! I'd be willing to bet that most guys (and ladies) like cute and flirty jammies more than the over-the-top stuff anyway.
Buuuuut if you are looking for something that screams SEXY rather than coyly suggests it, you might as well go for the gold, right? They're calling this a quarter cup underwire bra but it's essentially a normal bra that doesn't go up and over the nipple so HELLO. And then there's the split gusset chiffon thong
which is a nice way of saying "crotchless." Wear this set under just about anything for a very fun surprise later on. Not what you'd expect from good ol' Lane Bryant, eh?
There's tons of new stuff on the website so click below to go take a look.

I got the cherry print bra and panties and the bra doesn't fit. I don't know if it's too small or too big or just not for me. I'm having to take it back. I'm so upset.

Tisha, I've found that the cups on the balconette bras run on the full side, so I just get my usual band size but go down a cup size.

I want the cherry print bra so bad. I am thinking that is going to do magical things for my boobies aside from being cute as hell.

Do quarter cup bras work for any of you big-boobed ladies? My boyfriend has a HUGE thing about those hideous things, so I bought a pair in my cup size, but the girls just floooow all over the place and don't look at all like the firm silicone mounds in the catalog pictures.
Is it just that way with big, natural breasts, or would it be worth it to try and find one in a larger cup size? My subtle and classy lingerie vendor of choice only goes up to an E cup, which has always fit me yet, in all their bras.
OMG, I can't believe I'm asking a question about nipple-less bras, I'm so ashamed. :-)

that cherry print bra is so cute!
I really wish the cacique line covered more sizes, cuz I'd love to be able to wear their bras, but sadly they apparently do not want me to :( (and it's not like I don't wear LB clothes . . .)

These are cute, but I have to disagree that LB is improving their Cacique. In the last two years, they've discontinued both of the only two bra styles *anywhere* that worked for me - the previous (non-embroidered) iteration of Sheerwear, and now the Smooth Performance full-coverage underwire (which is sold out in my size online, too). Now everything is molded, or the wires are arranged unsuitably for my personal boobage.
While I used to wear nothing but LB cotton hi-cut panties, they're not made the same as they used to be. My best friend had a recently-purchased pair actually fall apart after two washings.
Guess I'm off on a hunt, since Avenue's offerings don't do the job either. If anyone has suggestions on full-coverage underwires that don't come up too far in the center...and that come in big-back, medium-cup sizes...I'd be ever grateful.

I'm with Monkey. I would -like- to try the cherry print bra, but alas my size is not there either. I actually saw a review of it on another site and it echoed your recommendation of going down a cup while keeping the same band. Even that wouldn't work to get me one, though. :(

The quarter cup is cute but I just know that my cup will be running over if I put it on. But the split gusset... now that might be an option.
I agree with you LB has stepped up their game... in the past couple of years. Expanded sizes, brighter colors and cute prints (instead of the horizontal/vertical strips). I think they finally started to get the hint that we want to look sexy in our underwear too.

I agree that they've been offering cuter things. When I saw the quarter cup bra, they didnt have the matching panties up yet. So now I'm going to have to order those as well! I wish they made more matching sets out of some of the bras and panties. By the way, I wear a 44DD and in my opinion, I am way overflowing the quarter cup. But my husband likes the way it looks, so I suppose it's a keeper. Not something you can wear around all day though!

I hope U mean that your SO will be the one saying this.
"Lane Bryant has a TON of new lingerie and some of it is so cute I could just DIE"
Ok enough from the Male Side.
Don't die because of underwear. Ok I could say something bad.......Won't

Quarter cup bras are best for firm, fake boobs or the small and perky. They don't work for me. Naturally big busted girls need more support than they offer.

HELP! I desperately want the cherry print balconette bra, but my size is all gone from the stores already!!!
I take a 46E (though 44 triple D would fit ok too) - is there ANYONE who can find out where I might be able to purchase it? Do any of your local LB stores still have my size? (Apparently there was a big run on them and they got bought up like crazy.) I would totally send someone a paypal payment if only they could pick one up locally, and naturally pay for shipping costs. I really really want it - I haven't had a pretty piece of underwear in 15 years and I want it so much. Anyone able or willing to help me out here?

To Em:
My girl ran into the same problem with the 1/4 cup. We got it because we thought it would be sexy, and her big naturals flowed all over as well. The was no support and so she did not feel sexy. It was a sad piece to return, too. (the thong is so cute and sexy on her though)
I highly recommend LBs lace boyshorts if you get around to trying those, though.

There needs to be an option between the "quarter cup" and the "demi cup" for women with fuller figures. Maybe a "one-third cup", which would cover to just below the nipple. That would give more support, and yet still give that "sexay" look.
And no, the "peek-a-boo" style, with cut-outs or slits for the nips, does not do the trick.
