Beth Ditto follows Lily Allen with own clothes line.
The Gossip singer Beth Ditto looks set to follow in Lily Allen's footsteps by designing a range of clothes for New Look. Although a link up has yet to be confirmed, the singer declared she is currently talking to the clothes shop about a range. "I'm in talks to do something with them at the moment," she told The Sun. "I love their stuff."

Well, this should be interesting, if it happens. I wonder how they plan to encompass Beth's style while still appealing to a mainstream market? I think she's very stylish but I'm not sure how many women would want to dress just like her, or if that's even the point. I am glad that Beth and the Gossip are becoming famous enough that she'd have an opportunity like this.

I couldn't agree with this girl more! Thanks for the post, I was looking for new music!
"People bitch about fat people who are quote unquote overweight, which is a term that I hate, because it sets a standard for people to be, but it's really funny to me that we are the majority in this country right now. It's treated like no one in the world is like this, and it's the most shameful thing, but really most of us are fat asses, you know," she told Pop Matters.
"I just like food too much, and I don't want to change. I spent so much of childhood trying to change, and I just got sick of it ... I don't want to look like Britney Spears, I just don't want to. She's hideous."

I came by today because I heard your interview on NPR. Right on! My wife is a 10/12 petite (she's short, at 5'1") and has a ghastly time trying to find clothes that fit her. I know she's considered "borderline" by size, but she really falls into the full-figured category. I've already visited some of the links and will be referring her to several. You probably understand far too well how much having a beautiful looking and flattering garment can lift your spirits. I'm sure this will do much of that for her.
People are people, no matter what their bodies look like. We all deserve to be treated with the dignity that has been given to us sacredly through our humanity. Keep speaking the truth. And thanks a million. This will go far to encourage her heart. I can't tell you how much that blesses me as her husband.
