I want this dress from Torrid so bad it's causing me actual physical pain, the longing is so intense. Look how fresh and colorful it is, without being too much. Look how perfectly cut and detailed it is with the green trim. Look how ladylike and youthful it is, without being frilly or juvenile. That's not even to mention that it matches my Vox blog. And this blog too, actually. I like green and blue polka dots... a lot.
And it's made of cotton. 100% airy, light, beautiful cotton. In a world of synthetics and blends, this is a dress made to dance in, to breathe in, to frolic through a garden of daises in. It's so very rare to find a plus size dress that's gorgeous in its own right, not just cute despite being a plus size dress.
I have absolutely no where to wear such a dress, and I don't even know if it'd look good on me, but I'm tempted to order it anyway, just to have its cuteness in my closet.

Shoot me later, but I seriously think that if you get said dress, you will find places to wear it - it's summery without being *too* summery and it can carry over into other seasons - wear it out for cocktails, dress it down with flat sandals for weekend wear, wear it out on the town, wear it to work with a cute little cardigan.
I vote for buying the dress :)

OMG, I want that!
But I'm telling myself it would be too long on me, and would look dumb shortened b/c of the colorblocking. That should stop me from buying it, right?
For about 15 minutes, anyway.

I really like the colors in this. Great find! (And why is it so hard to find 100% cotton dresses in SUMMERTIME?!)

Omg....can I just say thank you thank you thank you! I am new to this fat acceptance idea... granted I activly oppose societal rules about how I should look. I love this. I have recently gain (well by recently I mean about two years) a conciderable amount of weight. However I had always been curvy even when I was a size 6. I love that dress and check out the website and LOVE it. I like my body and I am pretty comfortable with it, but just yesterday had a mental breakdown in a department store b/c I just could find anything cute in my new size. I love you for introducing me to torrid, but I know my bank account will not thank you for it.

I love the dres...but...need it in a bigger size than a 26, and would love some arm coverage, but it is gorgeous!

Get the dress. I'm getting excited vicariously through you since I'm not much of a fashion fanatic myself. :)

The dress looks even better in person. Torrid also has a white short sleeve cardigan - perfect to wear over the dress. Or wear the dress with those darling silver sandals :)
It really is a great dress!

You are all very bad influences! :)
If anyone is considering trying the dress but fear that it'd be too long - you could have a seamstress or tailor take off the trim, shorten the skirt, reattach the trim, and shorten that a bit so it's proportional. I thought about that myself since I'm 5'4" and it looks a little on the long side.
I still don't know where I'd wear it but I am seriously tempted!

Have it! Love it! I will wear it in Chicago in -30 degree weather. It's the best fitting dress I ever bought.
