Remember how I was all

I would drop dead if I ever heard a super high-end designer say 'Fat women, they are zee beautiful!' It's not going to happen so we can all just stop holding our collective breath.

I said that here. Well, ok, so John Galliano kind of proved me wrong. It's weird to me that seeing a model with actual breasts and hips on a runway is considered revolutionary but I'll take my revolutions any way I can get them.

The Washington Post did an article on Galliano's fashion show a while back. While I think it's great that he used plus-sized women to model high-end clothing, I don't appreciate the fact that the entire fashion show has a "circus freak" aspect to it - so in addition to "fat women," there were midgets, old people and other "non-fashionable" types. I guess it's a step in the right direction, but it's an awfully small one! (Sorry - hope I'm not raining on your parade!)
