Remember how I was all
I would drop dead if I ever heard a super high-end designer say 'Fat women, they are zee beautiful!' It's not going to happen so we can all just stop holding our collective breath.I said that here. Well, ok, so John Galliano kind of proved me wrong. It's weird to me that seeing a model with actual breasts and hips on a runway is considered revolutionary but I'll take my revolutions any way I can get them.

The Washington Post did an article on Galliano's fashion show a while back. While I think it's great that he used plus-sized women to model high-end clothing, I don't appreciate the fact that the entire fashion show has a "circus freak" aspect to it - so in addition to "fat women," there were midgets, old people and other "non-fashionable" types. I guess it's a step in the right direction, but it's an awfully small one! (Sorry - hope I'm not raining on your parade!)
