This took a bit of research to figure out but, as mentioned in a comment for the previous post, H&M has a plus size line called BiB. I, for whatever reason, thought H&M only existed in Europe but I was wrong. If you live in the states you can find an H&M near you (well, kinda near) and see if they carry BiB. The H&M nearest me is at Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, which also happens to have a Torrid store and a rather huge Lane Bryant. There's also an Ikea about a half mile down the road. It's a nightmare around the holidays, though, so that's one shopping trip that will have to wait.

Hey Girl! You are so in my hood! I love H&M I just wish they had a bigger plus size department. Plus size at H&M is 12 and up, its just disapointing that they don't even carry XL, some of the stuff is so cute. Woodfield is the mecca of Illinois of shopping and I love it so much then Stratford Square or Oakbrook.

I went to the H&M in downtown Chicago a month or two ago (right after it opened). I wear a size 20/22 on bottom and a 22/24 on top and they had things that fit. Sooooo cheap compared to Lany Bryant ($35 for fancy pinstripe pants! Compared to $50 at Lane Bryant). Some of the big sized clothes were stupid looking and old ladyish but they had some nice trendy stuff as well. Nothing compared to all the glorious regular sized clothes they had but, better then nothing. It's definitely worth a look if your downtown sometime.

A lot of H&M's stuff is shoddily made, so it won't last a lifetime (or even a year) in most cases, but for the trendy pieces, it doesn't really matter. And it's so cheap that you can hardly complain.
(Also check out their baby clothes, which are UNBELIEVABLY inexpensive and just as gorgeous.)

Can't wait to check out both Torrid and H&M for clothing. I alway look in H&M for my friends and family, such cute things. I hope they can live up to my standards. It's truely a shame that no one has really taken that huge step into making good trendy clothes that fit us. Or even discuss that the "plus size" is becoming the more common size.
In Lucky Magazine they did have a blurb about clothing, mentioning that Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and I.N.C. and others make larger sizes. They are pricey but they will last.
